Job Description

Support the healing journey by ensuring efficient and effective linen operations that help hospital teams focus on patient care. Work collaboratively with Environmental Services and Linen Management leaders to manage all aspects of linen distribution, collection, compliance, and cost-control across the hospital. Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage hospital-wide linen distribution and collection processes

  • Collaborate with EVS Directors and Regional Leadership to ensure staffing, training, and compliance

  • Participate in forecasting, budgeting, and payroll functions

  • Monitor linen utilization performance indicators and produce weekly reports

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HLAC, and Joint Commission standards

  • Educate hospital staff on linen use and conservation practices

  • Support HHS linen distribution policies and safety programs

  • Identify and implement linen savings initiatives to meet/exceed PPD/PAPD standards

  • Attend and document laundry facility surveys

  • Facilitate succession planning and support business development efforts

Skills

  • Detail-Oriented: Strong focus on quality and precision

  • Operations Management: 1+ year of experience, preferably in laundry or linen

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Customer Service: Professional and approachable with strong client relations

  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Teamwork: Collaborates well at all organizational levels

  • Inventory Control: Ability to monitor usage and maintain supply within budget

Requirements

  • Experience in operations or management (1+ year preferred)

  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Must be proficient with Windows-based software

  • Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities
