Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Track and monitor inventory levels to support accurate order fulfillment.
- Liaise with carriers and internal teams to resolve delivery or scheduling issues.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, records, and reports.
- Monitor shipping performance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Communicate shipment status updates to relevant departments promptly.
- Support process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and accuracy.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree required (supply chain, business, or related field preferred).
- 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred; internships or relevant coursework will be considered.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn logistics/ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot shipping and scheduling issues.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and shipping documentation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing in a team-oriented environment.
