Position context

The Perfect Store & Channel Specialist reports to the OFF-Trade Modern coordinator who in turns reports to Modern Sales leader. 


Mission

Drive sustainable business growth within assigned key accounts by building strategic partnerships, implementing commercial plans, and ensuring flawless execution of sales and marketing initiatives across the Off Trade Modern Channel.

 

Key Responsibilities & Activities
    
⦁    Lead the development and implementation of joint business plans with key retail customers, aligning commercial strategies with customer priorities and category objectives.
⦁    Manage the full sales cycle for assigned accounts, including forecasting, budget management, and performance tracking.
⦁    Negotiate annual and promotional agreements, optimizing investment to maximize ROI and long-term customer value.
⦁    Collaborate with Trade Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution of activations and promotional calendars.
⦁    Monitor and evaluate commercial performance, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency through data analysis and market insight.
⦁    Serve as the main point of contact for key decision-makers within the account, maintaining strong, collaborative relationships at multiple levels. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard key account relationships.
⦁    Lead customer business reviews, presenting insights, results, and strategic recommendations.
⦁    Ensure compliance with internal policies and brand guidelines in all customer-facing activities.

 

Key Relationships

 

Internal: Sales Executives, Trade Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Category Managers, Marketing Teams 
External: Supermarket Chains, convenience stores

 

Summary of Experience/other requirements

⦁    Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Key Account Management or Sales in consumer goods, retail, or related industries
⦁    Proven success in negotiation, sales planning, and account development
⦁    Experience managing Modern Trade accounts is highly valued


Education/Professional Qualifications

⦁    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
⦁    Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in other local languages is a plus


Required Skills & traits

⦁    Strong commercial vision with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
⦁    Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales performance and market trends
⦁    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of CRM and sales forecasting tools is a plus
⦁    Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
⦁    Ability to manage complexity and prioritize in a dynamic environment
⦁    Customer-oriented and results-driven approach
