The ODM Project Coordinator is responsible for product execution throughout the product lifecycle; including facilitating custom client needs, working closely with overseas research and development, internal design, sales, and creative services to ensure project and client goals are met.

  • Review and approve project requests from Bestway US sales account managers 
  • Coordinate project workload among ODM design team resources
  • Launch and manage projects with assistance as needed from relevant NPD product managers
  • Coordinate with sales account managers on the confirmation of samples, specs, and costs
  • Coordinate with creative services to ensure that all photo, packaging, and other creative assets for ODM projects are executed within the required timelines and parameters
  • Provide regularly scheduled project status updates to sales account managers 
  • Assist ODM Project Manager to provide end of season performance data to sales and PD teams
  • Assist ODM Project Manager to develop and implement processes focused on continuous improvement and efficiency enhancement for ODM project management
  • Accompany sales account managers to key product presentations and meetings

Requirements

Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Strong project management skills with ability to plan tasks, manage progress, and resolve conflict across multiple projects concurrently
  • Exceptional attention to detail 
  • Comfortable with international travel, especially to China
  • Curiosity, flexibility, positivity, and a good sense of humor 
  • Direct experience working within the consumer goods industry
  • Experience working with licensors

Required Education and Experience:

  • BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years in a CPG project management position
  • Experience working directly with manufacturing operations overseas
  • Experience working with licensors 
  • Microsoft Office Suite, especially Planner, Excel, and PowerPoint with intermediate to advanced knowledge

Travel: Some travel required including international.
