Job Description: Senior QA Engineer – Cloud & Networking Focus
Experience: 5 to 9 Years
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile QA Engineer with deep expertise across cloud technologies, networking protocols, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong background in designing and executing comprehensive test strategies and test plans, and also develop automated test scripts for the features that are validated.
Key Responsibilities & Expertise:
Design and implement end-to-end test strategies and plans for cloud-based applications.
Develop automated test scripts using Python, Perl, Go, and frameworks such as Robot Framework and PyTest.
Validate enterprise wireless and wired networking protocols to ensure robust performance and reliability.
Automate UI testing using tools like Selenium or Playwright.
Utilise network testing tools, including Wireshark, iPerf, and Veriwave.
Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, Grafana K6, etc.
Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for testing and deployment.
Apply containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and clustering solutions.
Operate in Linux/Unix environments with proficiency.
Explore and apply AI/ML tools to enhance testing capabilities.
Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Added Advantages:
Cloud Practitioner Certification in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience in testing enterprise networking solutions.
Expertise in scale and performance testing in cloud environments.
Familiarity with traffic generators such as Ixia or Spirent.
Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
Certifications such as CCNA (Routing & Switching), CWNA, or Security+.
