We have an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Liquidless Machine Operator Lead to lead areas of liquidless sheets operation including drum dryer operation, cutting table and packaging equipment according to production schedule to ensure efficient operation and produce liquidless laundry sheets while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates
Key Job Functions:
· Oversees liquidless sheets employees involved in drum dryer operation and cutting and packaging at assigned ECOS location using lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain an efficient pace while ensuring quality and safety
· Oversees the proper labeling and packaging of product
· Ensures operation has the necessary components (tools, materials, etc.) to run production successfully
· Ensures operation is set up and ready for production at beginning of each shift
· Reviews production sheets throughout the day to make sure production is running efficiently and on-time
· Reports equipment problems and/or failures, to Plant Manager, Liquidless Production Supervisor, and/or Maintenance Technician
· Coordinates basic maintenance duties including routine preventive maintenance and equipment repair based on level of knowledge and skillset and assures the work is complete.
· Oversees the cleaning of all line equipment, as necessary and ensures sanitary regulations are met
· Provides input regarding training needs and handles training of team members as needed to ensure maximum output
· Maintains a thorough understanding of, and compliance with, regulatory standards including but not limited to US FDA, US EPA, OSHA regulations, and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
· Handles other special projects and requests, as needed

In order to be successful, you will need:
· High School diploma/GED
· At least 2 to 5 years in a lead production role along with 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a production environment
· Previous experience working in an environment that operated with continuous Strong communication skills with the ability to make presentations and interact effectively with all levels of the organization
· improvement initiatives and KPI’s to measure performance
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
· Strong attention to detail, especially when observing dehydration process on dryer
· Ability to safely lift materials, boxes, tools, equipment, and other necessary items
· Ability to manage time effectively and multitask
· Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions
· Excellent recordkeeping, documentation, and facility housekeeping skills
· Safety First! – Always practice safe behaviors, compliance with job-specific and ECOS safety programs/guidelines, “Accident Prevention” and “Lead-By-Example” approach to safety, wear required PPE, etc.
· Follows sustainability guidelines as communicated by sustainability department and participates in programs and training as needed to support sustainability goals of ECOS
