Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement a national sales strategy to achieve growth targets and increase market share in non-agency correspondent lending.
- Identify, target, and onboard new non-agency correspondent lenders, fostering long-term partnerships and driving new business opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing non-agency correspondent lenders, providing exceptional service, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions specific to the non-agency space to identify new opportunities and areas for expansion.
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, with a specific focus on non-agency guidelines.
- Work closely with other departments, including operations, underwriting, and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive customer experience.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in correspondent lending sales or a related role within the non-agency mortgage industry.
- Proven track record of successful national sales management and meeting or exceeding sales targets in the non-agency space.
- Strong network within the non-agency correspondent lending community.
- In-depth knowledge of non-agency mortgage products, pricing, and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Strategic thinking and ability to drive results in the non-agency sector.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
