This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to expand our market presence, cultivate strong relationships with non-agency correspondent lenders, and drive revenue growth across the nation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in non-agency correspondent lending, a deep understanding of the mortgage industry, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and implement a national sales strategy to achieve growth targets and increase market share in non-agency correspondent lending.
  • Identify, target, and onboard new non-agency correspondent lenders, fostering long-term partnerships and driving new business opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing non-agency correspondent lenders, providing exceptional service, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions specific to the non-agency space to identify new opportunities and areas for expansion.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, with a specific focus on non-agency guidelines.
  • Work closely with other departments, including operations, underwriting, and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive customer experience.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in correspondent lending sales or a related role within the non-agency mortgage industry.
  • Proven track record of successful national sales management and meeting or exceeding sales targets in the non-agency space.
  • Strong network within the non-agency correspondent lending community.
  • In-depth knowledge of non-agency mortgage products, pricing, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to drive results in the non-agency sector.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
