Essential Job Functions:
- Lead the end-to-end client service experience by managing onboarding, service delivery, renewals, and ongoing support; ensure alignment with internal teams
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by engaging decision-makers with consistent, proactive communication and strategic guidance; act as the primary point of contact to build trust and long-term partnerships.
- Provide expert consulting on employee benefit programs, including the design, placement, and renewal of coverage; advise on compliance matters and regulatory updates to ensure client programs remain competitive and compliant.
- Analyze key client data such as claims experience, underwriting metrics, participation trends, and large claims; identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to manage risk and control costs.
- Coordinate the preparation and presentation of new business and renewal proposals in partnership with Producers, Account Managers, and Broker Teams; support client-facing meetings and ensure proposals align with client objectives.
- Market stop loss coverage for clients and prospects no later than 60 days prior to renewal; confirm coverage with carrier prior to effective date
- Identify and communicate cross-selling and value-added service opportunities across all TrueNorth divisions
- Manage special client needs such as contract reviews, stewardship plan delivery, custom reporting, and issue resolution
- Maintain fiduciary responsibility in all activities to protect the interests of the client, the company, and producers.
Credentials:
- A minimum of seven years work experience in the self funded health insurance industry is required
- Life, Health & Accident license required
- Experience maintaining fiduciary responsibility for company, client, and/or producer preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions
- A college degree or equivalent work experience is required; a degree in Finance, Business or a related field is preferred
