Position Summary

Road Armor, a division of Morton Industries, is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to serve our dealer and jobber network in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and surrounding markets. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and representing the Road Armor brand with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm. The ideal candidate thrives in face-to-face interactions, enjoys travel, and takes pride in delivering results while embodying our company’s core values.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Dealer & Jobber Engagement

  • Visit assigned dealers and jobbers daily to promote Road Armor products and programs.
  • Provide product training, merchandising support, and promotional assistance.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships to ensure repeat business.

Sales Growth & Reporting

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets for the territory.
  • Identify new opportunities within the market and proactively pursue them.
  • Submit weekly sales activity and territory performance reports to the General Manager.

Trade Shows & Events

  • Assist with planning, setup, and execution of trade shows, dealer events, and industry functions.
  • Represent the Road Armor brand professionally at all events.

Product & Brand Representation

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Road Armor products, programs, and promotions.
  • Provide feedback from the field to management on product performance, market trends, and competitor activity.

Travel & Physical Requirements

  • Travel within the assigned territory daily, with occasional overnight stays outside of assigned territory.
  • Lift and move up to 50 lbs for event setup, product demonstrations, and deliveries.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Qualifications


Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven success in outside sales, preferably in the automotive aftermarket or related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting performance goals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience calling on dealers and jobbers in the DFW area.
  • Knowledge of automotive accessories, truck customization, or related markets.
