Description
- Generate and execute business improvement ideas for cost reduction, labor savings, material flow, and safety
- Identify equipment/Tool problems, faults, and review with team for repair and countermeasures at floor
- You will be responsible for the analyze root causes document of machine/Equipment down/Quality problem.
- Make a plan with team and take a lead for relevant measures and undertake relevant improvements with team.
- Review of process machine/process tooling specifications and confirmation of manufacturing specifications.
- Review/manage Maintenance team KPI management system (SAP) as directed by team manager
- Equipment PM implementation status management
- Make New Equipment PM if need for prevent maintenance.
- EMR Ticket close status management.
- Support Spare parts crib management.
- Supports purchasing personnel and supports purchasing spare parts and management of spare rooms
- Torque gun status management
- Management Torque gun change to keep the master list up to date,
- Send out torque gun to vendor for regular calibration and repair.
- Management status about sent out to vendor for regular calibration and repair.
**Fluency in Korean (spoken and written) is required due to the nature of our customer base and internal communications.
Requirements
Education / Skill / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Production Engineering or similar technical engineering fields.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration Preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity, and ability to take initiative and be self-directed
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office software package – Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook. experience required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the automotive industry (including co-op and internships)
- Exposure to automotive assembly, preferably just-in-time / just-in sequence operations
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies
- Use of CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, xxx
- Korean in written and oral form is strongly PREFFERED
