Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all of Bender Inc.’s safety policies and customer-specific safety requirements; promptly report any violations or concerns.
- Coordinate and schedule Factory Authorized Technicians and third-party service partners for field service activities, ensuring all necessary customer information is collected in advance.
- Maintain and ensure that Field Service Representatives (FSRs) and third-party partners meet Bender’s Factory Authorized Technician standards, including commercial, technical, legal, and financial criteria.
- Monitor technician performance, both internal and external, to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage administrative tasks related to service visits, including purchase order creation, remedial quote preparation, and order releases.
- Assist in the onboard of new service partners to expand Bender’s field service network.
- Maintain training materials for contractors, hospital staff, and third-party partners on using and maintaining Bender products.
- Review technician reports and ensure timely delivery of final professional service reports to customers.
- Collect and report customer feedback to support quality assurance, marketing efforts, and new product development.
- Assist in managing field service operations and related cases within Salesforce.
- Contribute in achieving or exceeding annual business targets.
Other Duties
- Regularly track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the field service team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Assist in developing and maintaining operational processes, procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Support collections efforts for past-due service accounts in coordination with the finance team.
- Support sales initiatives by generating demand for retrofits, accessories, and custom applications through marketing campaigns and outreach.
- Provide back-up support for the technical assistance team as needed.
- Assist with medical product quotations when required.
Requirements
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in the service industry, preferably within the electrical industry.
- Strong proficiency in computer systems and applications.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Physical and Cognitive Demands
- Ability to sit for extended periods and walk and stand frequently.

- Manual dexterity is required for handling tools and equipment; the user must be able to use hands and fingers to touch, feel, and operate.
- Must speak, read, write, and comprehend English effectively.
- Visual capabilities must include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This position operates in mixed environments, including but not limited to:
- Office Setting: Standard indoor conditions and typical noise level.
- Healthcare Facilities: critical patient care areas with standard indoor conditions and noise; may involve proximity to bodily fluids such as blood or urine.
- Construction Sites: Variable conditions that may lack heating or cooling; exposure to high noise levels and construction-related vehicular traffic.
