eBuilder Technician (Level 1 Specialist)
ITnova is seeking an eBuilder Technician (Level 1 Specialist) to support with daily platform maintenance, Level 1 technical assistance, and document control. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot workflows, manage user access, and provide training for internal and external stakeholders. Experience with eBuilder and construction project management systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day eBuilder maintenance and administrative support. On a daily basis, serve as Level 1 technical support for TCAP end users within the Agency eBuilder.
- Support internal and external users, including TCAP Office, Engineering Department users, tenants, design professionals, construction management companies, and contractors seeking daily technical assistance such as account unlock, project access, workflow overrides, minor process troubleshooting, file download/upload issues. Direct users to the next level of support and create tickets if necessary.
- Serve as one of the POCs between TCAP main office and Engineering Solutions, Document Control Administration.
- Provide core administrative tasks including new TCAP/MWA project set up, user provisioning, template and mail merge maintenance, document folder structure support. Assist with information transfer from TCAP tracker to e-Builder.
- Assist with implementation of any required project/program level modifications and developments which could include modifications of data fields, reports, dashboards, templates, and other functions; Participate in development of new workflows and system enhancement.
- Assist during new process build out, including documenting user requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria. Assist with testing and user acceptance as necessary.
- Assist with maintenance of the reporting fields based on the uploaded documentation (pre-con requested; pre-con held; FI requested; FI held; project status update based on the stage of the project etc).
- Troubleshoot all TCAP workflows, ensure layout and folder structure vs User Permission compliance.
- Prepare program and project-level reports on the project key performance metrics. Develop reporting systems and dashboards for each PA internal department / review group.
- Provide in-person/online training and support to e-Builder users across the TCAP program. Educate users regarding new eBuilder functionality and product enhancements, and update training materials.
- Serve as back up for general Engineering help desk support as a member of the eBuilder and Apps Support Team.
Required Education, Technical Qualifications and Experience
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Working experience using e-Builder or other construction management software. Experience working with eBuilder is highly preferred.
- Required Soft Skills.
- Self-motivated quick learner with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
- Independent worker, requiring very little supervision.
Preferred Technical Qualifications and Experience
- Administrator level knowledge of eBuilder.
- Experience working with support of construction industry project management, document management and financial reporting systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Enterprise Content Management solutions such as Open Text and SharePoint.
- Experience working with Microsoft Power BI reports.
- Experience working with large public government agencies or utility organizations, a plus.
