eBuilder Business Analyst

ITnova is seeking an eBuilder Business Analyst to support system administration, workflow development, and user training. This role will serve as the primary contact for TCAP projects, translating business needs into functional solutions and ensuring eBuilder efficiency. Experience with eBuilder and strong system analysis skills are required; Developer/Super Admin-level knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day system maintenance and administration tasks and serve as primary point of contact for TCAP projects within the Agency eBuilder. Support internal and external users, including TCAP Office, Engineering Department users, tenants, design professionals, construction management companies, and contractors.
  • Provide core administrative tasks including new TCAP/MWA project set up, user provisioning, template and mail merge maintenance, document folder structure support. Assist with information transfer from TCAP tracker to e-Builder.
  • In coordination with the Engineering eBuilder Administrator, implement any required project/program level modifications and developments which could include modifications of data fields, reports, dashboards, templates, and other functions; Participate in development of new workflows and system enhancement.
  • During new process build out, collaborate with in-house/off-site development team to translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications. This includes documenting user requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria to assist the development team in building new workflows that meet new TCAP business needs. Assist with testing and user acceptance as necessary.
  • Maintain and update reporting fields based on the uploaded documentation (pre[1]con requested; pre-con held; FI requested; FI held; project status update based on the stage of the project etc).
  • Troubleshoot all TCAP workflows, ensure layout and folder structure vs User Permission compliance.
  • Coordinate for approval all account-level settings such as Global Custom Fields, workflow configuration settings, templates, and other custom settings with the Engineering Department eBuilder Administrator.
  • Prepare program and project-level reports on the project key performance metrics. Develop reporting systems and dashboards for each PA internal department / review group.
  • Provide in-person/online training and support to e-Builder users across the TCAP program. Educate users regarding new eBuilder functionality and product enhancements, and update training materials. Develop reference manual (step[1]by-step instructions) for both internal and external users.
  • Serve as back up for general Engineering help desk support as a member of the eBuilder and Apps Support Team.
  • Provide additional expert Business Analyst services on various projects on as[1]need basis, including - analyze business requirements, document business processes, recommend and test developed solutions.

Required Education, Technical Qualifications and Experience

  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college. Advanced degree is highly desirable but not required.
  • Strong system analysis skills – able to produce system requirements documents.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro, and working knowledge of eBuilder.

Preferred Technical Qualifications and Experience

  • Developer/Super Admin level knowledge of eBuilder.
  • Experience working with support of construction industry project management, document management and financial reporting systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Enterprise Content Management solutions such as Open Text and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Power BI reports.
  • Experience working with large public government agencies or utility organizations, a plus.
