We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time (20-25 hours p/week) HR Assistant to join our team in Chester, WV.  Our facility is conveniently located 30 minutes from Robinson Township, PA and 30 minutes from Boardman, OH. 

The HR Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support with the daily operations of the HR department to achieve organizational goals and to ensure that The Orchards’ compliance obligations are met.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides general HR support to employees. 
  • Assist with new hire onboarding. (i.e.: set up training, complete reference checks, drug screenings and background checks, issue ID badges and uniforms). 
  • Maintain employee training files via Relias platform. Provide reports related to training completion as needed for state compliance. Conduct ongoing audits to ensure staff training modules are completed.
  • Verifying nurse licensures for all new hires as well as on a routine basis for current employees. Assist nurses with the completion of compact license applications. 
  • Provide requested employee data/information during state surveys.
  • Complete verification of employment requests for both active and terminated employees as requested.
  • Upload and maintain electronic employee personnel files within Paylocity.  
  • Assist with quarterly reporting requirements to CMS. 
  • Assist with special projects as needed (such as compiling reports, open enrollment, audit information request, etc.). 
  • Other duties as assigned.  


Requirements

 Minimum Requirements: 

  • Associate degree in a related field or 2-3 years of administrative assistant experience
  • 1-2 years of experience working in HR preferred
