Position: Visitor Experience Manager
Status: Full Time Exempt.
Schedule: Flexible Hours/Days – Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays. Work week would be Tues-Saturday off Sunday/Monday

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Record consistent inventories of retail and visitors center merchandise
- Create a weekly schedule for Visitors Experience Representatives
- Maintain and communicate the tip report for Visitor Experience employees
- Oversee and coordinate training and education of Visitor Experience employees
- Coordinate and check ADP/Toast for employee timecards
- Maintain and communicate with Marketing on retail store items and display
- Maintain high visual standards of cleanliness for Visitors Center
- Source/Maintain all stock on giveaway items for different experiences
- Order supplies needed for all experiences
- Keep all current GRD products stocked in Visitors Center
- Maintain good working relationship with tour companies and local tourism groups
- Maintain the highest level of customer service and management presence throughout the Visitors Center
- Work with our creative team to develop appropriate items for retail and any other creative needs
- Maintain the inventory of company retail store
- Drive sales through staff training and incentives
- Order retail merchandise through appropriate vendors
- File daily checkouts and bank deposits
- Maintain uniform and training standards for Visitor Experience Representatives
- Maintain organization of backstock inventory
- Maintain knowledge of tour experiences and be able to direct guests accordingly
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of Green River Distilling Company practices
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of Green River Distilling Company products
- Ensure Visitor Center equipment is functional and up to date
- Strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors and driving while under the influence.
- Maintain the highest health standards, sanitation and cleanliness in the beverage/bar area to meet local, state and government guidelines
- Participate in continuous training and educational opportunities
- Must be willing to take the company-paid course and become certified Stave & Thief Executive Bourbon Steward.

- Have a strategic mindset for growth and change based on the industry needs and standards

Desired Qualifications and Skills
- College degree in a related field ie business, hospitality, etc. Is not required but a plus
- Prior retail and industry experience a plus
- Exceptional Customer Service Experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficient in ability to read P&L’s and budget management
- Detail and outcome orientated with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
Physical Requirements
- During a typical workday, you'll find yourself communicating with others, moving around the workspace, and taking on a variety of physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, or climbing. From time to time, you may need to lift or carry items weighing over 50 pounds, or use your hands and fingers to work with different tools and equipment.
- The employee must be able to physically navigate around a plant/production environment, including the repetitive climbing of stairs and elevated walkways.
- Frequent expose to fluctuating indoor and outdoor temperatures.
- Limited overnight travel may be required and travel by car, air, train, or other means of public transportation may be needed.
- The employee must have the ability to hear and understand verbal communication in person and over communication devices (phone, radio); ability to detect and respond to alarms, warning signals, and emergency notifications; ability to distinguish differences in tone, volume, and pitch for accurate communication.
- The employee must have the ability to read printed materials, digital screens, and fine print; ability to detect visual signals such as warning lights, hand gestures, or safety signs; ability to accurately perceive depth, color, and movement as required for the role; ability to operate tools, machinery, or vehicles requiring visual coordination.
- The employee must have the ability to use taste and smell when tasing alcohol distillate.
