Title: Pre-Sales Administrator
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: DMG MORI, Technical Center
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
Classification: Non-exempt
Travel: 5%
Employment is conditioned on DMG MORI's ability to obtain and maintain any necessary export licensing.
Essential Job Functions:
This position will provide administrative support to the Sales Department. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. - Quotation Generation
- Accessory quoting and post sales management
- Telemarketing and business development
- Territory strategy, marketing, and catalog stocking
- Order processing
- Manage shipping arrangements, Invoice tracking and reporting
- Database development (OMS/CRM)
- Developing and mailing correspondence, answering telephones, filing of customer: files, sales orders, invoices
- Provide administrative support to Sales staff
- Customer advocacy
- Event planning and execution
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- 2+ years related experience
- Previous experience in machine tool industry preferred
- Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
Physical Demands:
Frequent: Sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones. Repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements.
Periodic: Standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
Occasional: Business travel. Lifting, pushing, and pulling objects.
