Description
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in keeping our HR operations running smoothly—balancing administrative tasks with a people-first approach to support employees and foster a positive workplace experience. This position helps ensure smooth HR operations by assisting with recruiting, onboarding, HRIS maintenance, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations support.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Process the required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, pay rate change, and other related employment matters.
- Assist with managing employee records (physical and digital)
- Update Disciplinary Tracking Spreadsheet
- Assist with Onboarding Process
- Assist with HR correspondence/ post information on communication boards within facility
- Maintain HR System of Record, Paylocity
- Pull and analyze reports
- Manage various compliance requirements, including I-9 Verifications
- Training and Development Initiative Support:
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars
- Track and ensure documentation of completed trainings led by HR
- Customer Service Support:
- Assist employees with the use of HR tools (i.e. Paylocity, insurance carriers’ website/app, etc.)
- Assist with distributing awards for employee recognition program, service awards, etc.
- Assist with employee/community engagement activities
- Perform other duties within scope of position as needed or assigned
Requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resources principles, practices and procedures.
- Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.

- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to understand and follow all safety requirements and cautions
- Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude
