We are seeking Program Coordinator who will be responsible for the implementation of a specific program under general supervision and direction. The Program Coordinator participates in program development, planning, and implementation. The position is responsible for day-to-day operations of the program and achieving short and long-term program goals. May supervise or oversee operational staff with program responsibilities.


Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to goal setting and identify program operational requirements to meet programmatic goals.
  • Obtain and utilize internal and external resources to meet program goals.
  • Serve as primary contact for the program with internal departments and external organizations.
  • Responsible for monitoring budget expenses, processing invoices, performing budget reconciliation, and assisting with budget development.
  • Compile documentation related to funding and finance.
  • Identify and resolve programmatic problems.
  • Assist with planning events and coordinate preparation, set up and logistics for events/ functions.
  • Coordinate communication activities via websites, social media channels, and publication materials as needed.
  • Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reporting of program activities.


Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or graduation equivalent
  • Five years progressively responsible related experience
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.


Technical qualifications and specialized certifications

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Starting Salary Range: $21.25 - $36.90 HRLY ($28,672 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 (One Day Per Week) 
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
