What you'll do:

The Inside Sales Officer, Enterprise will be a strategic leader responsible for the comprehensive development and execution of business plans for Grasshopper's Enterprise channel. This role demands a proven ability to drive growth through effective partner management, meticulous operational oversight, and strong cross-functional collaboration. You will be instrumental in achieving ambitious growth targets while ensuring operational efficiency and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Business Plan Execution: Own the end-to-end execution of the Enterprise channel business plan. Ensure direct alignment with overall management objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Referral Partner Performance Management: Proactively monitor, analyze, and manage referral partner performance against ambitious production goals. Develop and implement strategic solutions in collaboration with the SBA leadership team to address any performance gaps and consistently meet revenue generation targets.
  • Operational Capacity and Risk Management: Take ownership of monitoring incoming loan volume to ensure it remains within Grasshopper's established operational capacity and institutional risk tolerances. Proactively identify and escalate potential bottlenecks or risks to management.
  • Referral Partner Relationship Management: Drive the strategy for managing and onboarding new and existing referral partner relationships. Proactively establish clear expectations, negotiate terms, and effectively communicate all relevant updates or changes that may impact partners or borrowers.
  • Strategic Issue Resolution and Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex partner concerns, ensuring efficient, effective, and collaborative resolutions that strengthen relationships and uphold Grasshopper's reputation.
  • Cross-Functional Communication & Leadership: Facilitate clear, professional, and impactful communication with senior internal and external stakeholders. Lead and foster productive cross-functional team collaboration to ensure seamless execution across all facets of the Enterprise channel.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional development within the SBA team.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, channel management, or strategic partnerships, with a proven track record of achieving growth targets in a financial services or fintech environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing comprehensive business plans.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive results independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of operational capacity planning and risk management principles within a financial institution.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Experience with SBA lending is required.
