The Opportunity:
The Graduate School at Washington State University (WSU) invites candidates to apply for their Student Services Coordinator/Advisor 2. In this role, you will be managing customer relationship management (CRM) communications and campaigns for graduate students at WSU, collaborating with WSU Information Technology Services (ITS) and other stakeholders for CRM and myWSU integration, while also evaluating the effectiveness of CRM strategies.
As part of the WSU Slate Team, you’ll help develop systems and processes, train graduate programs in Slate, and analyze business data to support decision-making. A significant portion involves analyzing and interpreting business data and reporting, which includes evaluating data systems, developing Smartsheet processes, and independently designing and modifying Graduate School systems. Analyzing business data for decision-making, updating data queries, improving reporting systems through data aggregation and mining, and collaborating with WSU offices. You will contribute to outreach efforts and assistance to meet enrollment and retention goals, monitor graduate program activities, and use tools like Microsoft Excel and Power Business Intelligence (BI) for data analysis and visualization. Supervisory duties include mentoring student workers, with other tasks assigned as needed.

This is a full (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $4,061.90 - $5,355 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.
Experience working with Microsoft 365, including Excel and Teams.
Experience with Slate, or similar CRM, for managing graduate student data and email communications
Experience with Smartsheet, including building forms, reports, dashboards, and automation.
High-level experience with the Liaison application system (CAS, WebAdMIT, Outcomes).
Familiarity with project management principles and tools such as Jira.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and students/clients.
Demonstrate experience with the implementation new systems effectively .
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher.
At least one year of experience with GradCAS and EngineeringCAS, including branding and system edits.
Experience creating email marketing campaigns.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging tools and technologies.
Experience using WordPress for website creation, maintenance, and content updates
