We're looking for an experienced Backend Developer -PHP (m/f/d) to join one of our partner companies and develop their backend IT strategies.

In your day-to-day work, you'll focus on the new and further development of the platform while having the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

In this role, you'll:

  • Develop and enhance our partner company's new platform (Symfony, API Platform, Angular, MySQL, Kubernetes/Rancher)
  • Collaborate with the team to conceptualise new backend components
  • Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and contribute to their ongoing development
  • Maintain and improve the existing backend tech stack (Symfony, Zend)
  • Engage in continuous personal development through training, research, and team collaboration

Your Profile

  • Strong knowledge of PHP 8 and frameworks—ideally Symfony and/or API Platform
  • Proficient in server-side debugging
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of unit testing and a commitment to maintainable, readable code
  • Comfortable working with Linux
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is a plus
  • Independent work style and openness to new technologies
  • Friendly and motivated team player
  • Excellent communication skills in German. English is a plus

Please note that we are looking for support in Germany for our partner company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
