About the job

One of the companies with which we collaborate in Joppy, a data infrastructure and analytics company, is looking for a Remote Full Stack Engineer to join their team in Spain.

About the Role: we are looking for two talented individuals to join our team:
  • Full Stack Engineer (Middle Level)
  • Full Stack Engineer (Senior Level)

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain web apps, SDKs, and backend services.
  • Work alone or with others to define and deliver features.
  • Write clean, tested code and enforce best practices, but knowing when to take the necessary trade-offs.
  • Implement security and data protection in all developments, it's crucial when working with big institutions and banks.

Stack
  • Frontend: TypeScript, React, glued together with Turborepo
  • Backend: Golang (we may introduce other technologies in the future)
  • Testing: Playwright
  • Database: PostgreSQL
  • Infrastructure: AWS (Kubernetes with IaC) and Github

You
  • A problem-solver who can deliver independently with autonomy.
  • Not afraid of working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment (we won't always have the product requirements fully defined, or the designs ready).
  • Willingness to learn, and not afraid to be wrong by moving forward.
  • Humble, open to feedback, and willing to challenge bad ideas (this is critical for us to build an effective team that is build on respect).
  • Strong frontend skills (React, TypeScript, or other), backend experience (ideally Go), and solid SQL (we use Postgres) knowledge (building a query should not be an issue).
