As a Market & Commodity Analyst, you analyse international markets of agricultural products, identify the economic trends for internal commodity insights purposes
You monitor trade price changes, value chain developments and substantial changes for different sectors to be able to process and synthetize datasets accordingly
You act as an expert, researching and designing new information relating to global trade and market development in order to provide added value and meet futures need in forecasting and decision making
Working as part of the Commodity Insights team, you’ll create presentations based on global trade and prepare weekly, monthly and custom reports on the commodity market's situation
In this role, you participate actively in a globally operating business unit and engage in direct communication with international stakeholders
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
As a Market & Commodity Analyst, you have completed business-oriented or science studies or similar education
You possess initial, relevant work experience in the field of agricultural, retail or FMCG sector
You are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
You are motivated to learn how internal commodity trading is working
Business-fluent English skills are essentials to the role
Analytical and solution-oriented personality describes your working style
You bring a reliable, structured and independent way of working with you
