Where you come in:

As a Senior MSSQL Database Developer with Full Stack Development experience, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining our database systems, with a strong focus on ensuring performance, security, and scalability. You will also contribute to our full stack development efforts and building and supporting a scalable Node.js API and exposing functionality on our Next.js/React front end. Your role will be 80% database-focused, and 20% on API and Front End work. This role can be based in the United Kingdom or USA however applicants must have a valid right to work without the need for sponsorship.

As a Full Stack Senior MSSQL Database Developer you will be responsible for:

• Design, develop, optimize and maintain MSSQL stored procedures, tables and databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
• Utilize Redgate tools for database version control, automation, and deployment.
• Develop and integrate payment processing solutions using Braintree and Stripe.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
• Ensure data integrity and implement robust data governance policies.
• Supporting new feature development across the full-stack from DB → Node.js API → React.js Front End
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database and full stack development.

As a Full Stack Senior MSSQL Database Developer you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MSSQL database development.
• Excels at database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Excels at creating and managing SSIS packages
• Experience with Redgate tools for database management.
• Experience with payment processing APIs and handling financial data, particularly Braintree and Stripe.
• Experience in full stack development, particularly with Node.js, React, and Next.js.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current right to live and work in the United Kingdom (or USA).

You will also ideally have:

• Experience with AWS Infrastructure
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Certification in MSSQL or related technologies.
