Description

About us:

How did Web Summit become, in the words of Forbes, “the best tech conference on the planet”? Meaningful connections. Our tech events are unmissable because we make it easier for the right people to meet and connect. Everyone at Web Summit works towards this goal.

And we’re just getting started.

We’re always looking to build on the impact we have already made at Web Summit. In the coming years we’ll take Web Summit to new markets, promoting global connectivity, highlighting important issues and connecting global leaders – all while making a positive impact on the environment and communities we encounter.

To build a better company, we have to better ourselves. We do that by finding the most ambitious people to work with us.

The Advertising team sits at the heart of growth for Web Summit events worldwide.

We run large-scale, performance-driven campaigns across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok and emerging platforms, reaching millions of people globally and converting them into attendees, partners and media.

The team works closely with Insights, Growth, Creative and Sales to build a best-in-class acquisition engine that has helped grow Web Summit from 400 attendees in 2010 to more than 100,000 today.

We are now looking for an Advertising Coordinator who already has hands-on paid media experience and is ready to take the next step in their career. This is a role for someone who wants responsibility, ownership, and the chance to run campaigns for world-class events at serious scale.

What you will achieve:

  • Plan, launch and optimise campaigns across Meta, Google and LinkedIn, with exposure to TikTok and additional platforms.
  • Own day-to-day campaign execution including budget pacing, creative rotation, testing frameworks and optimisation.
  • Work closely with the Creative team to brief new assets and iterate on performance-driven concepts.
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics and Growth to understand audiences, funnel performance and attribution.
  • Monitor performance daily, proactively identifying opportunities to improve ROAS, CPA, CTR and conversion rates.
  • Build weekly reports and contribute to strategic readouts for senior stakeholders.
  • Support testing roadmaps across creative, messaging, targeting and bidding strategies.
  • Help scale campaigns across markets and regions as events ramp up.
  • Take increasing ownership of accounts and budgets as you grow within the team.
  • Skills we like to see:

  • 1 to 3 years experience running paid media campaigns in-house or agency-side.
  • Hands-on experience in at least two of the following platforms: Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads.
  • A strong understanding of campaign setup, optimisation and reporting.
  • Comfort working with budgets, pacing and performance targets.
  • A data-driven mindset and curiosity about testing and experimentation.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once.
  • Confidence working cross-functionally with creative, analytics and commercial teams.
  • Ambition to grow quickly in a high-performing team.
  • An interest in technology, startups and the global tech ecosystem.
  • Nice to have's....
  • Experience with TikTok Ads or additional platforms.
  • Canva or basic creative editing skills.
  • CRM or marketing automation exposure.
  • Additional languages.
