Duties & Responsibilities: Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Engage in qualitative primary research on businesses, industries, macroeconomics and technologies with both a thematic top-down and competitive advantages driven bottoms-up lens
Conduct research and support the Investments team on topics related to themes within our portfolio
Assist in the preparation, data collection, aggregation and analysis of research topic
Prepare internal and external communication materials related to our research
Work with a group of internal and external stakeholders
Support the team with administrative and organizational tasks
Use what you’ve learned to prepare a presentation at the end of the internship to internal stakeholders
Job Requirements (Skills/Abilities):
Demonstrated knowledge and/or interest in thematic equity investment research
Strong data management and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and successfully manage multiple deadlines
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
Education:
A current sophomore or rising junior of a Business, Engineering, Economics or Science program from an accredited college or university preferred
3.0 GPA or higher
Duration / Compensation:
Minimum of 8 weeks, full time (40 hours per week)
