As a Marketing Support Specialist at DRMP, you will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining marketing-related content, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of marketing data, and assisting the Marketing Pursuits Team’s efforts in winning new projects. This individual will also assist with maintaining the firm’s client prequalification’s and vendor registrations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

1.       Content Creation and Maintenance:
  • Create, edit, organize, and assist in the distribution of marketing-related content and collateral using AP style format (i.e. Pursuit-related brochures).
  • Ensure grammatical accuracy, content organization, and formatting are in accordance with DRMP’s writing guide.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop process improvements.
 
2.       Marketing Data Management:
  • Facilitate the process of collecting, organizing, and maintaining accurate marketing data, including client information, project details, and market research.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to maintain the integrity of marketing data.
  • Utilize CRM system to maintain marketing data accuracy and availability; generating reports as needed.
  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of marketing data by regularly auditing and updating records.
  • Generate reports and analytics to support marketing strategies and decision-making processes.
 
3.       Client Prequalification's and Vendor Registrations:
  • Register and maintain firm prequalification's and vendor registrations for various agencies.
  • Manage and maintain existing and new client prequalification processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Handle vendor registration processes, ensuring all required documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Liaise with the internal technical team and vendors to address inquiries and resolve any issues related to prequalification's and registrations.
 
4.       Miscellaneous Support:
  • Assist the marketing team in preparing proposals, RFQs, and RFPs, ensuring all marketing materials and data are aligned and accurate.
  • Participate in marketing meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas and insights to enhance marketing initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by marketing leadership to support the overall goals of the department.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a focus in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and resourcefulness skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with technical writing is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driven, proactive, and a self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Familiar with Adobe InDesign.
  • Working knowledge Deltek Vantagepoint or other CRM system experience is a plus.
