Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and staff-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to provide effective support to our internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to staff support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system and provide support remotely or on-site as needed.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, network, and other IT systems. Diagnose and resolve problems in a timely manner while maintaining solid follow-up communication.
  • Provide on-site support across our facilities in CT as needed (Bridgeport, Stamford, Norwalk, Greenwich). On-site support is required when remote assistance isn’t possible.
  • Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory on-prem and in the cloud (Office 365).
  • Support the Quality department with some areas of the EHR (Electronic Health Record) system.
  • Assist with cleanup of various systems; on-boarding and off-boarding users from systems as necessary.
  • Create documentation and training materials for staff and internal use as required.

Core Competencies:

Experience with or working knowledge of any of the systems/hardware below is strongly preferred:

  • Office 365 administration
  • Active Directory administration (on-prem)
  • Windows Server/Client Operating Systems (Windows 10/11)
  • Office 365 Desktop Apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Electronic Health Record/Electronic Medical Record Systems
  • Cisco Switches
  • Ubiquiti WiFi
  • Meraki Firewall
  • ConnectWise
  • MDM (MaaS360, Apple Business Manager)
  • Mimecast

Certifications/Licenses:

CompTIA A+, Cisco, Networking and/or other technical certifications preferred. A valid driver's license is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Experience:

•              Desktop/Help Desk Support: 3 years (Required)

Education:

•              Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Liberation provides services for youth, adults and families that include two inpatient treatment programs, outpatient and intensive outpatient services, health education for older adults and people living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses, treatment and resources for adolescents and their families, education and prevention efforts in the community, and permanent supportive housing for families. In operation since 1971, the agency has sites in Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk and Bridgeport and served more than 2,400 individuals in our last fiscal year.
