What you'll do at Lewer:

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Client Advocacy Advisor, you have a significant impact on students and school administrators by providing clear, valuable information and guidance related to their selected insurance products. You manage student plan orientation meetings both remotely and onsite, ensuring participants understand coverage details and feel confident in their choices. You deliver WOW! Service by supporting clients through the implementation and onboarding process, addressing questions with professionalism, and building strong rapport that fosters long-term relationships. In addition, you serve as a trusted partner to schools by coordinating with internal teams, monitoring client needs, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience. Your contributions strengthen client satisfaction, drive retention, and reinforce the organization’s reputation as a reliable and responsive partner.


Your Key Areas of Impact

Client Satisfaction & Retention: You have a primary responsibility to ensure that our clients are satisfied with the services you provide. You are responsible for building long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and preferences, and offering customized solutions to meet those needs. You maintain client relationships through excellent communication and by being a resource for new program offerings and plan revisions. The impact of your work in this area is reflected in client retention rates, customer satisfaction scores, and referral rates.


Program Management: You assist clients by managing the implementation, onboarding, orientation meetings, and annual policy renewal processes. You maintain materials provided to schools, such as plan summaries, brochures, policies, and websites. You assist in managing social media messengers and scholarship contests.  Your attention to detail and organizational skills help minimize delays, reduce errors, and optimize processes for client-facing programs.


Business Development: You assist in developing new business by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities and expanding the portfolio of services offered to clients. You also assist in the management of client RFPs. The impact of your work in this area is reflected in increased revenue growth and enhanced business reputation.


Risk Mitigation: You have a focus on mitigating risks for our clients. By communicating accurately and efficiently regarding coverage and/or ancillary services, you help clients manage and minimize their exposure to potential risks. The impact of your work in this area is reflected in reduced claim rates, improved loss ratios, and overall risk reduction for clients.


Cross-Functional Collaboration: Your collaborative approach in working with various internal and external stakeholders is vital to the organization's success. Your effective communication skills, relationship-building, and teamwork foster a culture of collaboration and enable successful partnerships, benefiting the organization's overall business objectives. You have a commitment to cross-training and serving as backup for your colleagues as needed, which drives smooth operations and superior service for all Lewer clients.



The Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel

Your work is conducted primarily at the Lewer Administrative Offices, with eligibility to work from home in accordance with company policy. You must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time, and be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc. You will operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer 95% of the time. You will need to be able to lift to 20 lbs. Travel is required for this seat and is less than 15%.


Your qualifications:

Requirements

You hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business, education, or related fields, and you’ve spent time in education, insurance, or account management roles that have helped you develop excellent skills in client care. You hold a life and health insurance license or will within 90 days of hire. You may be bilingual, which is a plus. You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. You are also proficient with Adobe and CRM systems, preferably AgencyBloc.
