Description
Position Summary
Assures that products ordered by Chinook Winds are delivered and all appropriate documentation is completed promptly and accurately. Assures that items received are picked up or transported to the appropriate receiving department. Assists in the stocking and rotation of kitchen products and maintains the sanitation of the storage areas.
Essential Functions
Shipping and Receiving Functions:
- Makes pick up and deliveries to designated locations (either on or off-site).
- Monitors activities on and around the receiving dock.
- Maintains order on the dock and notifies Security if or when necessary.
- Reads purchase order to ascertain material type, specifications, and delivery location.
- Receives and signs for merchandise, and keeps records of items received and delivered, in compliance with Chinook Winds policies and procedures.
- Compares invoices against purchase order to verify quality and quantity of material.
Storage and Inventory Functions:
- Checks products received against food requisition, reporting discrepancies to supervisor.
- Stocks and rotates kitchen products.
- Sanitize storage areas.
- Counts daily cycle of storeroom product to endure proper billing to the different outlet centers.
- Participates in storeroom physical inventories.
- Periodically records inventories.
Administrative Functions:
- Prepares and maintains receiving records.
- Maintains a neat and orderly office area.
- Assure that all necessary documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensures that designated operations are in compliance with Chinook Winds policies, NIGC, Tribal policies, State Compact, and Tribal Gaming Regulations.
- Complies with all applicable company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with all departments.
- Uses computer as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience
Previous shipping, receiving, or stocking experience preferred.
Computer Skills
Microsoft Office basic level including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Keyboarding
Certificates & Licenses
Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License.
Must obtain a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of employment.
Valid Oregon Driver’s License.
Other Requirements
Must maintain an “insurable” driver status.
Ability to operate an electric pallet jack or show proficiency within 30 days.
