Estimated Hiring Salary Range: $45,017.00 - $54,764.00 Full Salary Range: $45,017.00 - $80,557.00 Annually

About the RoleThe Investigative Analyst supports the Investigative Support Division by maintaining and utilizing the department’s suite of advanced intelligence and investigative technologies. This position conducts research and analysis to identify suspects, recover stolen property, and support criminal case development. This job is Non-Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and operate key technology platforms, including:
Fusus Intelligence Ecosystem
Viglant LPR and Flock Safety Automated License Plate Reader systems
Raven Audio Detection and Verkada Security systems
AXON Evidence.com for body-worn and vehicle camera footage
LexisNexis, LINX, TLO, NCAWARE, CJLEADS, NCIC/DCI, and other investigative databases
Review recent criminal investigative reports and extract relevant data to support ongoing investigations
Conduct detailed research on potential suspects, stolen property, NIBIN results, and crime gun data
Review and analyze citizen- or business-provided video or images to assist detectives
Make preliminary contact with victims and witnesses to obtain clarifying or additional information not captured in initial reports
Collaborate with State and Local agency partners to share intelligence and coordinate efforts to combat violent crime
Prepare reports and summaries that communicate investigative findings and data-driven insights

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree with 1+ years' experience in investigative analysis, computer software programs, including spreadsheet, database, word processing, graphics, GIS, or directly related experience as it pertains to the job description
- Or High School Diploma with 4+ years' experience in investigative analysis, computer software programs, including spreadsheet, database, word processing, graphics, GIS, or directly related experience as it pertains to the job description
- Valid Driver's License
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Department of Criminal Information (DCI) certification ("OR" must obtain within six weeks of hire date).
- Prior/Current certification with the State Division of Criminal Information
- Experience with Investigative Case follow-up.
