What you will be responsible for:
Create Memorable First Impressions
- Review and process residential lease applications in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize property management software to conduct high-level screenings including: Identity verification, landlord history, income verification, credit evaluation.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies or red flags in application data.
- Communicate with applicants and internal teams to clarify or resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all application reviews.
- Stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in fraud detection and tenant screening.
- Skilled at building rapport with applicants.
- Have strong written communication and tech fluency.
Operate with Organization and Efficiency
- Excel at follow-up and organization.
- Utilize KNOCK, Microsoft Office, and Property Management software for accurate documentation and communication.
- Adapt seamlessly to working with different validation documents.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge about company approval policies and RealPage application processing advancements.
- Work closely with the leasing teams to achieve property performance goals in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication between applicants and departments.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications for this Role:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to detect inconsistencies and potential fraudulent information
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with residential leasing processes, accounting or human resources is preferred
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and tenant screening regulations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Background in human resources, finance, credit analysis, or fraud prevention is a plus
