Kayden Industries is a leading provider of solids control and environmental solutions serving the oil and gas, industrial, and manufacturing sectors across North America. Our Conroe manufacturing facility supports the design, assembly, and distribution of high-performance equipment and materials that power our operations in the field. We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the timely flow of materials and efficient coordination between vendors, manufacturing, and operations teams.
Position: Supply Chain Coordinator
Location: Conroe, Texas
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will take full ownership within the scope of their position to collaborate with various cross-functional groups — including Manufacturing, Operations, Safety, and external suppliers — to proactively and collaboratively resolve any issues that may impact material flow or project timelines.
Key duties include:
Place and manage purchase orders; verify incoming shipments and confirm material receipt.
Perform general warehouse duties, including storeroom organization, cycle counting, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Assist manufacturing with production order planning and materials forecasting.
Arrange transportation and logistics for goods.
Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and customers regarding orders, deliveries, and materials.
Analyze inventories to identify excesses, fluctuations, and unusual activity.
Support setup and completion of new part numbers and maintain accurate records in the system.
Assist with fleet management and tracking.
Maintain standard and special stock items based on operational needs.
Support the setup of new vendor accounts and seek opportunities for improved pricing.
Collaborate with management to update and adjust item pricing as necessary.
Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, answering phones, and assisting Accounts Payable.
Qualifications:
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Experience with SAP ByDesign or other ERP systems is highly desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
Forklift operation certification or willingness to obtain one.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in supply chain coordination, purchasing, logistics, or warehouse management.
Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments.
Understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.
