George School, a Quaker boarding/day grades 9-12 college preparatory school located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA has an opening for a Financial Aid and Enrollment Coordinator.
Serve as the primary academic contact for new students and families during the transition from enrollment to the start of school.
Collaborate with the Admission Office to support onboarding and orientation efforts.
Coordinate new student skills assessments and academic placement processes.
Work closely with the Registration/Opening Days Coordinator to manage academic components of registration.
Provide administrative support to the Registrar, IB Coordinator, and Director of Studies in curriculum planning, course registration, and exam coordination.
Assist in maintaining academic records, including grade reports and transcripts.
Share responsibility for managing academic inquiries via phone and email with the Registrar.
Assist with financial aid processes, including application tracking, document collection, and communication with families.
Review and organize financial aid documentation submitted through Clarity, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Support enrollment processes for new and returning families, including contracts, deposits, and documentation.
Oversee Enrollment and Financial Aid inboxes, ensuring timely and informed responses.
Maintain and update enrollment and academic databases, ensuring data integrity.
Collaborate with Admission, Business, and School Offices to ensure accurate student records.
Participate in planning and execution of admission and academic events, including open houses and registration days.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in an educational setting, particularly in admissions, academic administration, or financial aid.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Patience, tact, flexibility, and strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, spreadsheets, and electronic calendar systems.
Experience with Jenzabar J1, Canvas, Clarity, or similar systems is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
