Job Summary
ONSITE DAILY POSITION
The Industrial Process Engineer is a strategic partner in identifying and improving process improvement opportunities throughout fulfillment operations. Responsible for identifying fulfillment production projects aimed at product and process problem-solving, improvements, cost reduction, labor and profitability improvement. This individual should be a self-directed change agent able to implement new initiatives across departments that have substantial impact to the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyzing flow of incoming products, outgoing waste and outgoing finished goods of assembly and fulfillment processes for waste and motion reduction.
 - Reviewing custom assembly and fulfillment opportunities to create most effective line labor and assembly line layouts.
 - Setting up assembly and fulfillment lines in a lean, cost effective, well-organized plan.
 - Reviewing existing production lines for waste and motion reduction opportunities.
 - Conduct routine analyses and/or tests pertaining to the development of new line designs, methods, materials or processes by applying engineering principles.
 - Analyzing flow of incoming product, outgoing waste and outgoing finished goods of assembly and fulfillment processes for waste and motion reduction.
 - Reviewing production lines for automation and tools enhance workflow and consistent production speeds.
 - Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures.
 - Recommends improvements to refine and enhance products and process by applying continuous improvement principles and techniques.
 - Determine and implement process changes and/or pilot programs to improve operating efficiency and performance and minimize variation.
 - Designs, develops and implements solutions to improve line efficiencies, quality and production rates.
 - Partner with operational leaders to understand all processes and how teams and individuals are involved and impacted at each step.
 - Drive process improvements through the coordination and management of process trials
 - Track, analyze and report data related to any trials, changes and continual production information to inform recommendations and decisions.
 - Review and share best practices throughout the business to replicate gained improvements.
 - Deliver presentations to operations team and leadership providing an executive-level summary of Process Excellence projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or combined equivalent education and experience
 - Proficient computer skills including experience with the Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
 
Preferred
- Fulfillment or corrugated display experience
 - Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment
