Position Duties
This position deals directly with students, faculty, staff, and the public; therefore, you must have:
- Exemplary communication skills via mail, phone, in-person, and online
- Experience in a diverse work environment
- Ability to work well independently and as a team member
- Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to organize work and develop effective work methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in meeting planning and minutes taking
Applicants must also be detail orientated, efficient, highly reliable, and able to exercise initiative.
Minimum Qualifications
- Secretarial experience
- Experience with customer service focus
- Experience with confidential information
- Experience in events/meetings planning
- Experience in working with diverse population
- Proficient in website management and social media

The starting salary for this position is $36,108.00, based on the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement.
