JOB TITLE: Medical Credentialing Data Entry Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Credentialing Data Entry Specialist to support our medical credentialing team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, primary source verification, updating, and maintaining provider credentials and related documentation as well as provider enrollment documentation in our credentialing databases and systems. Accuracy, confidentiality, and time management are key to ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Work independently and think critically to complete credentialing and provider enrollment tasks accurately and on time
- Handle confidential provider and organizational information with discretion and professionalism
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with providers, office managers, internal departments and verification entities to gather or verify credentialing information
- Maintain a positive and dependable experience that supports team trust and collaboration

- Accuracy enter and update provider information in various systems and databases.
- Complete primary source verification as assigned
- Review documents for completeness, ensuring that requires items are received and properly labeled and stored.
- Track and monitor licenses and certification expiration dates, send reminders
- Track and send recredentialing applications as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with preferred focus in Business Administration or related field.
Required Licensure: N/A
Specialty Certification: N/A
Preferred Experience: Some employment experience in a hospital setting.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Prior experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare or medical credentialing a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication and follow-up skills.
- Familiarity with credentialing software or systems (e.g., CAQH, Symplr) is a plus.
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and credentialing requirements is an advantage
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Part-time work from home hybrid model.
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
- May require occasional travel to or between facility locations
- Must reside in Washington state
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Extended time periods of computer work

Benefit Eligibility Requirements - Employees regularly scheduled at least 20 hours per week.
