The BGS Operation Manager will support Manufacturing, Repair and Overhaul Components based in Mesa, Arizona. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

 

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): 

  • 5+ years of experience working in a government Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environment

  • 5+ years of experience in management or relevant leadership experience

  • 5+ years of experience with project management and the ability to self-manage projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study.

  • Military experience

  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc) 

  • Experienced in using Boeing Problem Solving Model

  • 5+ years of experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)

  • 5+ years of experience working with proposals

  • 5+ years of experience working with AH-64 Apache flight control and drive components

  • Experience using Continuous Improvement practices and tools.

  • Experience working with external customers.

  • Ability to interface at all levels of an organization
