QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification/Experience:
Education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university with a major in business administration, accounting, or similar field including, but not limited to education with a specialization in school finance.
Five years of financial or related experience in a large public or private organization. Any other combination of training and/or experience that demonstrates an applicant is likely to possess the required skills, knowledge, and abilities may be considered.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license at the time of appointment.
DESIRED QUALIFICATION:
Specific financial management experience in at least three or more of the following areas is desirable: school district finance, accounting, budgeting, auditing, purchasing, finance, or risk management.
