Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, plan, organize, coordinate and direct staff, and evaluate activities as the administrative head of designated areas of responsibility within the Business Services Division.

QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification/Experience: Education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university with a major in business administration, accounting, or similar field including, but not limited to education with a specialization in school finance. Five years of financial or related experience in a large public or private organization. Any other combination of training and/or experience that demonstrates an applicant is likely to possess the required skills, knowledge, and abilities may be considered. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license at the time of appointment. DESIRED QUALIFICATION: Specific financial management experience in at least three or more of the following areas is desirable: school district finance, accounting, budgeting, auditing, purchasing, finance, or risk management.
