Perform receiving, set up, in-process, and final inspection activities as specified by Talon control plans using inspection tools such as microscopes, micrometers, vision systems, comparator, calipers, CMM machines, and drop gages.
Complete inspection record as specified by product control plan and work instructions.
As needed, perform open layout inspections, fulfilling product control plan and First Article requirements.
Provide CMM programming support for running 1st time programs, tuning existing programs, and diagnosing issues as they arise. Light programming may be requested
Provide mentoring and training to other inspectors
Provide additional information and clarification to machinists as requested.
Develop reports and tracking measurements as needed.

Demonstrated mid-level print reading.
3+ years PC-DIMS experience, including light programming
1+ years Calypso including light programming
Experience in maintaining and tuning programs, and/or Final Inspector Certification.
Ability to multi-task and work with others in a fast-paced environment.
Highly developed problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Customer-oriented and service-minded.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office software packages and Windows operating systems, i.e. MS word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Manufacturing or Quality related field preferred, not required.
6+ years of experience in Manufacturing Quality Control, or equivalent.
ASQ Certified Inspector, required
ASQ Certified Technician, required. (or must obtain during 1st year of employment)
