Are you dependable, enjoy working with others, and have a great sense of humor? MRCI is seeking a CDS Program Specialist – Intakes to join our Client Directed Services (CDS) team in Mankato, MN. This full-time position offers daytime hours, full benefits, training, and opportunities for advancement—all while making a meaningful impact in your community.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the first point of contact for client intakes and guide them through the entire intake process.
• Promote and explain CDS programs to clients, families, representatives, and county personnel.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of enrollment documents and maintain compliance with program regulations.
• Collaborate with counties, DHS, and other providers to develop and implement CDS best practices.
• Assist with payroll, vendor payments, reimbursements, and budget tracking.
• Support new employees with employment packets and status changes.
• Stay informed on legislative and regulatory changes affecting CDS programs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving support.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree plus three years of related human service experience

OR

• High School diploma plus six years of related human service experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must pass a MN Department of Human Services background check.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel throughout Minnesota.
