Sigma Defense is seeking an Engineering Project Coordinator to support Sigma Manufacturing & Engineering in Perry, GA.
The Engineering Project Coordinator drives small-scope projects from concept through release, providing hands-on coordination across design, manufacturing, quality and sales. This role builds and maintains Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new products, processes Engineering Change Requests/Orders (ECR/ECO), and ensures configuration accuracy in Product Life Cycle Management/Enterprise Resource Planning (PLM/ERP) systems.
The Coordinator validates all required QMS/ISO documentation (requirements, test records, design history, as-built) is created, current, and audit-ready. Partnering with engineers, the Coordinator sequences tasks, manages schedules and risks, and keeps deliverables on track through clear communication and interfacing with change control personnel. They supply pricing and technical inputs to support quotes and proposals, translating engineering data into customer-ready estimates. Success is measured by on-time releases, clean audits, accurate BOMs, and repeatable processes that reduce rework and accelerate development and delivery.

Requirements
- Candidate may have up to two years of related experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Coordinate small-scope engineering project schedules, tasks, risks, and stakeholder updates to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Build systems and maintain accurate BOMs for new products, manage revisions and part attributes in PLM/ERP systems.
- Process ECR/ECOs end-to-end, updating BOMs, drawings/specs, routings, and release documentation.
- Validate required QMS/ISO artifacts (requirements, test records, design history, as-built) are complete, current and audit-ready.
- Track engineering product versioning/revisioning for requirement traceability.
- Prepare technical inputs for quotes/proposals (pricing, labor/material estimates, lead times - based on engineering data and supplier info).
- Facilitate cross-functional handoffs with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain; track dependencies and unblock issues quickly.
- Generate and maintain project dashboards/reports (milestones, changes, KPIs) and drive continuous improvement of NPI/PLM workflows.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $63,000 annually.
