Title: Desk Desk Manager

Location: London or Barcelona

 

We are looking for a Deal Desk Manager to act as a strategic advisor to Sales assisting in the creation of commercially viable, non-standard transactions. The candidate will work cross functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, Customer Success, Sales Operations, and Product Management to ensure informed business decisions are being made. Responsibilities will range from driving individual deal conversations with Sales to refining existing processes and policies to scale with growing business needs.

What you will do:
  • This position sits at the intersection of Sales, Legal, and Finance acting as a strategic advisor, managing deal flow, and driving sustainable growth while minimizing sales cycle times
  • Candidate will play a critical role in supporting our salesforce in deal structure, pricing, competitive benchmarking, channel engagement, revenue compliance, contract negotiation and be the sales business partner and a key link to back-office integration
  • Ensure deals are structured and processed efficiently to align with internal company policies while meeting specific customer requirements
  • Ensure all aspects of a deal are considered by providing a structure and qualification process that will lead to a more tailored, specific, and compelling commercial proposal
  • Review incoming pricing requests to provide guidelines and advice to maximize profitability and win rate
  • Analyze pricing/discounting trends and provide feedback for planning and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve overall business processes, efficiency, and productivity and work with cross-functional teams to implement
  • Manage discounts and gross margins
  • Fast-paced actor with an ability to manage volumes within a defined SLA
What makes you an ideal candidate:
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience required
  • Demonstrated success in supporting Enterprise sales teams in a high-growth environment
  • Prior experience in SaaS contracting required
  • An ability to work creatively in deal modeling and commercial constructs to meet specific customer requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to communicate issues in a straightforward, understandable manner
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, and with Salesforce and NetSuite
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and work with multiple interruptions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work with and influence teams
