ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be located in our Houston office and will also provide support to our Dallas office, partnering closely with office leadership and staff on the day-to-day operations of the office.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
Responsible for managing day-to-day administrative operations. Works closely with Director of Business Practices/Business Practice Leader.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to supervising, coordinating workload, assigning tasks, and managing performance of support staff; managing office administration and procedures to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and safety.
Communicates and implements office practices in conjunction with office leadership.
Oversees property management issues; manages relationships with vendors and service providers.
Manages office budgets in partnership with BPL.
Implement opportunities to improve office operations and employee engagement.
Train and/or mentor new office coordinator, administration, or reception staff.
Proficient in required computer software programs.
Manages confidential information with discretion
Other duties as assigned.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience required.
Minimum High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree in relevant field preferred.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Experience working in a professional services firm preferred.
Exceptional time management, problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to multitask, maintain and prioritize deadlines.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels, internally and externally, is essential.
