Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday
Pay: $20 - $26/hr, depending on experience
This is a Hybrid position. Mon and Fri are remote. Tues, Wed, and Thurs are in office.
Your Purpose will be:
The person in this position will be responsible for many clerical duties in the office. Working with Commercial and Residential loans, procedures and compliance. Also, every employee is responsible for fulfilling our Mission Statement: To improve the financial well-being of our members, while providing world class service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Evaluates loan files, ensures regulatory compliance, identifies risks, and documents audit findings to maintain loan portfolio quality and financial integrity.
- Identify and document potential risks or compliance issues within loan files and processes.
- Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and other relevant departments to address identified discrepancies or issues.
- Conduct quality control reviews and provide feedback to team members on audit processes.
- Assist with department reports to verify all loan changes are keyed correctly.
- Quotes loan payoffs as requested.
- Leads the process to release collateral for loans that have been paid off.
- Ensure receipt of final deeds of trust and final title policies correctly showing our lien for all CRE loans.
- Obtain updated insurance information and validate adequate coverage for existing loans.
- Files UCC financing statements, amendments, and terminations.
- Monitors property taxes and take appropriate action when alerted that property taxes are due on all CRE loans.
- Receive reconciliation reports from loans we are participating in, and applies payments received.
- Prepare reconciliation reports from loans we have sold portions of, and remits payment to investors.
- Works with Loan Officers and Credit Analysts to complete servicing actions for existing borrowers.
- Assist with phone inquiries from credit union branches, departments and vendors.
- Build good relationships with credit union branches, departments, and vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Understands the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied.

Requirements
The experience you need to succeed:
- One year related banking/financial institution experience preferred.
- One year consumer loan experienced preferred.
- Must have High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
- Proficient with standard office business machinery and software.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Works primarily in a hybrid office environment. This includes but is not limited to various outdoor and indoor climates and driving conditions. (Hybrid or work from home employees must be able to report in office if required.)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp and reach. A computer, phone, and standard office equipment are normal tools for this position. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
