As a Lodging Operations Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting Disney Cruise Line Guest experience. You will learn how lodging operations, including staterooms, housekeeping, and hotel services, are managed shoreside to support the fleet. This internship will report to the Sr Manager, Lodging.

The Disney Signature Experiences Intern Program is a 12-week immersive summer internship supporting the Disney Signature Experiences businesses (Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, Adventures by Disney, National Geographic Expeditions, and Story Living)!

Upon completion of the internship, interns have potential to be invited to participate in the full-time Disney Signature Experiences Rotational Program in summer 2027.

Currently seeking undergraduate juniors heading into their senior year, fall 2026.

The approximate date of this internship is May 2026 to August 2026 and will be located in Celebration, FL. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist lodging leadership with operational projects and process improvements
  • Support the coordination of shoreside and shipboard lodging initiatives, including housekeeping, laundry, and stateroom operations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Crew Operations, and Shipboard Leaders) on reporting, scheduling, and workforce planning
  • Research and provide recommendations on industry trends and best practices related to lodging and Guest service
  • Track and analyze performance metrics, preparing insights for leadership to drive continuous improvement
  • Contribute to presentations, process mapping, and documentation for leadership reviews and project updates

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Interest in hospitality, lodging, or cruise operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or work experience in hospitality, hotel, or cruise operations
  • Familiarity with operational systems or reporting tools
  • Passion for Disney and a strong interest in Guest Service excellence

Education:

  • Must be a junior (rising senior during summer 2026) enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program
  • Pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information 

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the requirements below: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship  
  • Be at least 18 years of age  
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization  
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

 Additional Information 

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from Monday - Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM Eastern Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Must be fully available for the duration of the internship 
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work​
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program​ in the Orlando, FL area

The pay rate for this role in Celebration, FL is $22.50 per hour.
