Position Summary:
The Cookie Cupboard Manager is responsible for managing cookie inventory and ensuring excellent client service during the annual Girl Scout Cookie Program. This is a temporary, part-time position, is effective end of November 2025 – to March 31, 2026. This role is customer-facing and involves processing and filling cookie orders (counted in cases of cookies, each containing twelve packages) for troop volunteers and staff running council organized Girl Scout programs.
Hours: Must be able to work the established Cupboard schedule for Middleboro, MA for the duration of the cookie program (Tuesdays 12:00-5:30PM, Wednesday 12:00-7:30PM, Thursday 11:00-6:30PM, Friday 9:00-3:30PM, Saturday 8:30-10:15AM). Hours are a tad flexible based on volume from end of November 2025 -March 31, 2026).
Key Responsibilities:
- Use the cookie program database (vendor-specific software; training provided) to track and fill orders.
- Take calls from volunteers about their orders, address changes and/or adjustments.
- Prepare orders for pick-up; this includes pulling cookies from pallets and reading order forms.
- Assist with the oversight of the weekly cookie delivery by the delivery agent.
- Maintain inventory by organizing and reorganizing the stock in the cupboard.
- Report Cookie Cupboard inventory daily.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
- Work positively with the Product Program team to make the Cookie Cupboard a positive experience environment for volunteers and family members picking up cookies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a customer-focused mindset, and committed to delivering excellent customer service with a collaborative and supportive approach.
- Must have the ability to quickly learn software programs and use them accurately and efficiently.
- Must be able to attend to competing priorities in a quickly moving and changing environment.
- Qualified candidates will be dependable problem solvers, be able to meet deadlines, and provide outstanding customer service with a cheerful and helpful attitude.
- Capacity to, independently and as part of a team, plan, organize and prioritize work, while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer proficiency and accuracy, keyboard skills, data entry skills, and experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) are required.
- Girl Scout experience is a plus.
Work Environment: This position is outdoors and subject to cold weather for extended periods of time and must dress appropriately for various winter weather conditions. Will have prolonged periods of standing and moving/lifting cases of cookies.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and be able to move and pack cases of cookies to assist volunteers, families, and staff with loading and unloading cars, vans, and storage areas, indoors and out.
