We are excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Warehouse Supervisor at our Hickory, NC location. The Warehouse Supervisor is a working leader responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, driving productivity, and ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

✅ What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates in day-to-day operations.
• Assign daily work, monitor progress, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Provide hands-on training, mentorship, and support to team members.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions and corrective action when necessary.
• Evaluate employee performance and assist in hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary processes.
• Enforce safety procedures, PPE usage, and company policy adherence.
• Ensure a respectful, inclusive, and productive team environment.
• Oversee receiving, picking, packing, staging, shipping, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes.
• Verify accuracy of shipments and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Assist in conducting cycle counts and support inventory audits.
• Operate and monitor warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Fill in for drivers or warehouse associates as needed to support workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
• Support and report safety violations or incidents to management immediately.
• Utilize warehouse systems (e.g., Eclipse, WMS) to update and track inventory and order data.
• Communicate with branch staff and other departments to resolve order, shipping, or customer-related issues.
• Help implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost accuracy and efficiency.

🔍 What We Need:

• Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving practices.
• Effective supervisory skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and warehouse management systems.
• Able to work independently while maintaining communication with leadership.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

📍 Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience; at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, walking, and occasional ladder use.
• Exposure to warehouse conditions including fluctuating temperatures and noise.
