About the position::

Velosio is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. This is an entry-level role designed for recent college graduates or early career professionals looking to start a career in business development and technology sales. The BDR is responsible for identifying potential clients, engaging prospects through outreach efforts, and generating qualified opportunities for our Account Executives.

This is a high-visibility position where you will gain foundational experience in technology consulting sales, develop strong communication skills, and play a critical role in Velosio’s growth. You will receive extensive training, mentoring, and ongoing development opportunities to accelerate your career.

 

This role will be onsite in our Atlanta office.

Your day might look like::

Prospecting & Outreach

  • Research and identify potential clients across assigned industries and territories.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Leverage sales tools and CRM systems to manage prospect lists and track engagement.

Lead Qualification & Pipeline Development

  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and events.
  • Engage prospects in discovery conversations to identify business needs.
  • Schedule introductory meetings for Account Executives with qualified decision makers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry in the CRM.

Collaboration & Sales Support

  • Partner with Account Executives to develop targeted prospecting strategies.
  • Share insights from conversations to support customized outreach and proposals.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales processes.

Professional Growth & Learning

  • Develop a deep understanding of Velosio’s offerings, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, and cloud services.
  • Build foundational sales skills, including objection handling, value messaging, and client engagement.
  • Receive weekly coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback aimed at continuous career progression within Velosio.
  • Opportunity to advance to Client Account Manager, Account Executive, or other sales/marketing roles.
What you'll bring::
  • Bachelor’s degree (business, communications, or related field preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A growth mindset — coachable, competitive, self-motivated, and relentlessly goal-oriented.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in sales and technology consulting.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • No prior sales experience required — training provided.
